The Xero Flor system uses a patented, textile-based design to produce pre-vegetated green roof products.
Precultivated Sedum mats are harvested and delivered as 1-meter squares or as rolls measuring from 2 to 15 meters in length. Our production facilities are spread out over the U.S. The facilities are pictured at left with a 500-mile radius approximating the range for locally supplied products towards LEED® certification.
Xero Flor mats are installed on custom designed base layers to provide 'instant green' that is naturally resistant to weed encroachment, wind uplift, and surface erosion.
The Xero Flor precultivated mat permits a lightweight green roof design with saturated weights ranging from 12 to 18 pounds per square foot. Our lightweight extensive system is flexible for either retrofit projects or new roof construction and can be modified for semi-intensive and ballasted applications.
